Punch Needle is an embroidery technique using a special hollow needle. You simply push the yarn through the fabric, stitch by stitch, and gradually a soft, fluffy, dimensional pattern appears.
Sounds simple? It is. But only if you have the right materials in the right kit.

This is the foundation of everything. Budget kits often include just a piece of fabric that you have to stretch yourself somewhere. Inconvenient, and it directly affects the final result.
In Tonia Art kits, the frame is already assembled by hand, with the canvas stretched evenly and neatly. You can start stitching right after opening the box.
Canvas material: 100% cotton. This matters because synthetic fabric doesn't hold the yarn as well.

Another area where cheap kits cut corners: they include just a paper template and leave the tracing to you.

Scissors are something almost everyone has at home, so we leave those out too.
How long does a kit take to complete?
It depends on the size and your pace. On average:
